Born in PomLand over 30 years ago, I always had a yearning to leave, so when an opportunity came up to head deep South I jumped at the chance. Over 4 years later I'm trying to make the most of GodZone, by paddling, riding and running around as much of it as possible. Unfortunately due to the nature of AR, a lot of this travelling is done at night, and at speed, so I'm not getting to see too much of it!
Introduced to AR by doing the 2003 Arrow series as a 2 man team, I've been looking for a girl to coax into doing the Southern Traverse ever since, while in the meantime I've been doing a bit of riding and Multisport to keep fit. A computer geek by day, I try and play as much sport as possible to blow out the sedentary cobwebs. Besides the obvious MS disciplines, if you ever need anyone to play Squash, Volleyball, Netball ( a fantastic game, reserved for girls at home, but heaps of fun even if I do keep getting the whistle blown at me for stuff I don't understand ), Ultimate or pretty much anything else in Wellington, get in touch!
